Hello Out There!

*Tap tap.*

Is this thing on?

Is anyone out there?

Anyone still subscribed to my blog?

Despite my … let’s see … TWO YEAR ABSENCE, I am, in fact, still alive! 😀

Still alive and still active in the keto world, albeit a little less publicly than I was a few years back.

I may be getting back to writing regularly again in the new year – more on that in a bit. In the meantime, I’m long overdue to check in, say hello, and point you to where you can find my work these days.

Social Media

The best place to follow me at the moment is YouTube. It’s been a few weeks since I put out a video but I’ll be getting back to it this week, and when I have anything on the horizon (such as public appearances, new books, or other offerings), I’ll always announce them there so you won’t miss anything.

You can find my channel here: Keto Without the Crazy

(Please consider subscribing, if you haven’t already.)

I don’t post much anymore on X (formerly Twitter), but I do pop in there occasionally, so if you use that platform, follow me here: https://x.com/TuitNutrition

I don’t use Facebook a whole lot either, but there, too, I make an appearance once in a while. (Actually, I use FB almost every day, but that’s specifically to check in on a group I admin as part of my job. I’m not pouring out the intimate details of my life and sharing vacation pics or anything.) If you use FB, go ahead and like/follow the Tuit Nutrition page. The algorithm probably won’t show you when I post since it’s pretty rare, but why not hit the follow button anyway?

Public Appearance

Do you live near Las Vegas, or have a desire to travel there? Come see me in person at the CoSci conference in February! My friend Dave Feldman (we really are friends in real life, not just on the internet) has invited me to speak at his CoSci event (Collaborative Science) taking place Feb 7-9, 2025. (I was a late addition to the speaker lineup and as of this writing I have not yet been added to the website so you might not see my pic & bio there yet.)

And if you don’t want to come see me, come to see such renowned keto legends as Dom D’Agostino, Ken Berry, Eric Westman, Nadir Ali, and Nina Teicholz. 🤩

Plus, probably even more of a draw than that stellar crowd will be the world premier of the documentary Dave and his team have been working on for yearsThe Cholesterol Code! YES! Dave has created a movie about his fascinating research that will hopefully help move the needle a bit more quickly on the paradigm-changing findings he and his research collaborators have been uncovering the last several years. (What it really should do is upend damn near the entire fields of lipidology and cardiology, but I’ll settle for a paradigm shift as a first step.)

See here for all the details: CoSci - Collaborative Science Conference 2025

Online Course

Happening about a month before the CoSci Conference is my Stall Slayer online course – based on my book of the same name, all about breaking those dreaded fat loss stalls on a keto or low-carb diet. Enrollment will be open for just three days (January 6-8, 2025), but once you purchase the course, it’s self-paced. You can watch the video lessons as quickly or as slowly as you like, and there are some downloadable guides that you can print or save and read at your leisure. (I mean, if you’re gonna binge on something, better my course videos than half a cheesecake, amiright?! Then again, you could binge on some Oreos and lower your cholesterol, so there’s that…) There’s also a live session with me for Q&A where you can ask me your questions in real time. (And yes, if you can’t watch live, it will be recorded and you’ll have access to the replay. I’m not gonna let you miss anything good! Plus, you know I’m a real person, right? I’m pretty easy to contact if you have questions or comments but you’re not a live session kind of person.)

Click here for details on the course and to get on the waitlist if you’re interested: The Stall Slayer online course. (*Being on the waitlist guarantees you a spot when enrollment opens, and it also lets me send you a message the day it opens so you don’t miss it.)

And remember, I’m still available for individual consultations if you need personalized help with your keto or low-carb diet, whether your main goal is weight loss or some other aim. (See here for info.)

These days, I feel like I'm having more conversations with clients about thyroid than about keto! (Curious about thyroid? Here's a talk I gave about thyroid hormones and keto diets at Low Carb Denver last year. And if you're especially curious and want even more juicy details, watch this much longer but more detailed and more passionate version of the same talk I did for my own channel, where I was able to get more personal and say a few things that wouldn't have gone over so well on stage at an academic conference.)

Back to Writing!

If you’ve missed my writing, first of all, thank you! I’m honored! 🥰

If you enjoy my writing, I’ve been writing blog articles for Keto Chow for a while. You can find all of them here: Amy’s articles for Keto Chow. I’ve covered a range of topics, such as CGMs, PCOS, fatty liver disease, keto and kidney disease, keto and cancer, sugar alcohols, “keto bread,” and more.

(Note: I am not responsible for any of the images or ads in those articles. I’m just the writer! And they don’t send me a final draft to approve, so there may be minor modifications compared to the draft I initially submitted. Still, I think you’ll find the voice is “me,” although not as uncensored as I was here on my own blog back in the day.)

And speaking of my own blog, I’ve been poking around on Substack lately. Do you use Substack? Seems like a good way for me to get back in the game, so to speak, and possibly to reach a new audience as well. I haven’t jumped in yet but it’s looking good for 2025. (I have an account there – you can follow me, but I don’t have my own newsletter there yet. If I start one, I’ll announce it here as well as on my social media to get the word out.)

And if you’ve made it this far, thank you so much for still being in my little corner of the ketoverse! I appreciate you more than you know. 💛
